Giving back The Neuman Family Fund

In 2011, Matt Neuman and his wife, Alice, established the Neuman Family Fund to support local causes that impact the economic, religious, artistic and philanthropic areas of life. The mission of the Neuman Family Fund is to be a catalyst for constructive social change by investing in efforts that strengthen families and communities. Its core values include:

  • Impact and Significance – We value grant-making that maximizes our contributions and honors our civic commitments. We focus our grant-making on opportunities where our assets and expertise can add the most value.
  • Self-Determination – We value the mutual benefits derived from the active engagement of individuals in decisions that affect their lives and their communities. We purposefully seek efforts that develop leadership within each community we serve.
  • Perpetuity – We value the ability of private philanthropy to serve a unique and ongoing role in society. The Neuman Family Fund diligently attends to preserving and enhancing its financial corpus to meet the challenges of the future as well as the present.

Matt's Madness Challenge

Matt’s Madness NCAA Charity Challenge is an annual fundraiser that strengthens communities around the country. As a resident of Lawrence, Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!), Matt has a passion for college basketball. Combing the best time of year for college basketball with competitive fun and a heart for generosity, Matt’s Madness continues to grow in scope every year!

More about Slow Up Fund

More, more, more, faster, faster, faster, right? Wrong. The Slow Up Fund was created by Matt and his team to draw attention to slowing down (before we speed up). Recognizing that successful people have a lot happening in their lives, grants from this fund are given special consideration to those who are moving with intention, purpose and focused connection.

The vision of the Slow Up Fund is to establish a base that allows Matt, his team and his clients to give generously, long after all of us have left our mark on this world.
